Who We Are

Daniel McClam, CCIM

President, Broker-In-Charge

On the residential side of Hawks Real Estate, Daniel is responsible for all day-to-day operations and deal specific activity. This includes acquisitions, underwritings, dispositions, and transaction management. Daniel and his team constantly collaborate to ensure we are providing a fair offer for every home we look at. Daniel consistently provides a smooth, seamless transaction with weekly updates to Seller’s as to where we are in the due diligence process. Daniel is very knowledgeable in transaction management and will take every step imaginable to get a deal across the finish line. Prior to Hawks Real Estate, Daniel was commercial broker at Avison Young Commercial Real Estate in Charleston, SC, where in 2-years, he facilitated over 200 transactions along with multiple personal investments. Daniel is a licensed South Carolina Broker, a Certified Commercial Investment Member Designee, and holds a BS in Commercial Real Estate Finance from the College of Charleston.

Jack Herbkersman

Director, Technology & Analytics

Jack manages a variety of business and analytical processes at Hawks Real Estate. At a high level, he leads our seller outreach program to source new deals and ensure the process from start-to-finish is as efficient as possible. He also manages our KPI tracking, internal databases, backend codebase, and ad-hoc analyses that Hawks Real Estate relies on to perform our best. Jack has a strong technical background, with 3 years of experience in finance as an actuary before joining the Hawks Real Estate family. Jack studied Mathematics at The College of Charleston, and Statistics & Finance at The University of South Carolina, where he got his start in computer engineering.

James Corcoran

Acquisition Agent

James, a North Carolina native, brings a wealth of expertise from the residential construction industry. An alumnus of East Carolina University, James swiftly channeled his education into a career, diving into the New Home segment of the Residential Construction sector the same year. Beyond his formal education and work experience, he has a hands-on background in home remodeling and has been an integral part of his father's foundation repair business from a young age. With a cumulative decade of experience across various facets of the residential market, James adds immense value to our team.

 

Outside the realm of real estate, James is a local entrepreneur, proudly owning "The Golfers Lounge" in West Ashley. This indoor haven is perfect for those seeking leisure or looking to elevate their golfing prowess. When he's not working, James embraces the weekend spirit—be it perfecting his golf swing, riding the waves at the beach, or chasing the elusive Red Drum with his trusted fishing rod.
